she is wet under her neck and kinda like drool, panting heavily, she is having trouble walking, no vets around want to see a rabbit. She just got preg about 3 wk ago i dont want to loose her and the babies.Help please my rabbit is sick whats wrong with her?
Just calm down, my guess is that she is just over-heating. Get a cold, wet rag or sponge and rub her fur going up and down...up and down... and you could put a fan in front of her cage so she can cool down.Help please my rabbit is sick whats wrong with her?
Its called ';Heat Prostration';, This happens to bunnies that are pregnant. Basically cool her down. But slowly. Dont douse her. She needs to be at room temp or lower with slight cool water to drink. Also mist some water on her.
DO NOT DO WHAT THE DUMB GIRL SAID BELOW THIS ANSWER. A MOIST RAG WILL TRAP BODY HEAT AND KILL YOUR BUNNY.
